What I didn't expect is the gym. Two weeks in, a woman in my class asked if I'd gotten Botox. I laughed and said no. She said my skin looked rested. That's the sentence I'd been waiting for. Not "what did you have done." Just rested.
As a woman in menopause, the hardest part wasn't the wrinkles. It was the glow leaving and the guilt that I cared this much. I didn't want needles. I also didn't want to look worn out in a staff meeting. I was spending money every month on jars that quit by lunch and then feeling vain for being upset about it.
I don't feel that way now. One jar. $30. I'm not doing an eight-step routine after work. My skin stays comfortable. Diane still thinks the idea is gross. She's using her jar anyway.
If you're reading this and you see your own face in it, whether you're 47 and peri and itchy and dull, or 54 and sick of buying the next cream, or 62 and tired of paper-thin skin that won't hold anything, I can't recommend Cura Goods Tallow and Honey Balm enough. When you've tried everything and you're losing hope, it's easy to think this is just your face now. This little jar has been a miracle for mine.
Kind regards,
Ellen M.
